MEET LACEY RICE-SERAFIN
My name is Lacey Rice-Serafin.
My hometown is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
At work I am the Asst. Director of Grad. Admissions at Coker College.
Coker College, the weather, & being within driving distance to the beach brought me to Hartsville.
I have lived in Hartsville for almost two years.
You may not know that I have two cats, my husband and I got married at the beach the day after Hurricane Matthew hit South Carolina, and I love netflix.
My favorite Hartsville spot is Kalmia Gardens.
My favorite Hartsville food is Brunch at the Midnight Rooster, and the Shrimp & Grits at Bizzells.
On a weekend in Hartsville you can find me grabbing a coffee at Crema, walking downtown browsing the boutiques, and enjoying the many evening entertainment options the town provides; whether that be a downtown block party, grabbing a drink at Retrofit, or the Mantissa rooftop bar.
I HYP because I enjoy meeting new people and having fun.
I love Hartsville because it's the perfect location in South Carolina. You're less than two hours from the beach and larger cities like Charlotte, yet there's enough here to keep you entertained and not travel out of town if you don't want to. It's the epitome of small town charm.
A Hartsville hidden gem that many don't know about is La Victoria's Mexican Restaurant.
